Gotta Love A Tattletale! Family Plus PS

Hi Parents and Grandparents of Preschoolers!

Because there are no groups Easter Sunday we will focus on "Jesus Is Alive" this Sunday! Easter weekend we will have five one hour services. Saturday, April 19th 5:00pm and 7:30pm with an indoor egg hunt for our preschoolers at 5:00pm. Sunday services will be 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:00am, with indoor egg hunts at 9:15am and 10:45am. I hope to see you at one of the egg hunts.

To bring the story home this week, help your child name as many different ways they can know that Jesus loves us. As a family, write down ways that we can tell and show Jesus that we love Him.

This Sunday, April 13, 2014, your preschooler will learn about this story:

Jesus Is Alive! Based on Matthew 26:36–28:10
Jesus had been arrested and died on the cross.
Very early in the morning three days later, Mary Magdalene and another Mary went to the place where Jesus was buried. They were sad because Jesus had died. As they got near the tomb, they felt a strong earthquake. An angel had come from heaven. He rolled back the stone from the tomb and was sitting on it. He was very bright and dressed all in white.
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus. He is not here! He is alive. Look and see where He lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘Jesus is alive! You will see Him soon.’ ”
The women felt very happy. They began to run to tell the disciples what they learned. Suddenly they saw Jesus. Jesus said, “Good morning!”
The women came up to Jesus and began to worship Him. They were very happy to see Jesus. Jesus told them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My disciples to go to Galilee and they will see Me there.”

Christ Focus: Jesus is alive, and He loves us.
Life Point:
Jesus gave everything for us.
Life Verse: God loved us and sent His Son. 1 John 4:10

Questions:
Where were the women going early in the morning?
